Dr. Starling practices general orthopaedic surgery with a subspecialty interest in sports medicine. He treats numerous conditions/ injuries of the extremities. Commonly performed procedures include, but are not limited to, the following, arranged by anatomic area:

  • Knee: Arthroscopy, including ACL ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair, patellar instability ( medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction) / Total and Partial (uni) Knee Arthroplasty (replacement), traditional and computer assisted, / Fracture treatment/High Tibial Osteotomy
  • Shoulder: Arthroscopy, including Rotator Cuff Repair, Instability  Surgery ( Labral Repair), Total Shoulder Arthroplasty (replacement), Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty (replacement), Fracture treatment
  • Hip: Total hip Arthroplasty (replacement), Fracture treatment
  • Hand, Wrist and Elbow: Carpal tunnel release, Trigger digit release, Fracture treatment, Tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow
  • Foot and Ankle : Arthroscopy, Fracture treatment, Bunion surgery

Dr. Starling does not include treatment of spinal conditions in his scope of practice.
